Prysmian Cables in Great Britain
At the factory in Southampton, Great Britain, an energy-efficient 24-hour steam supply is required during the cable production process. Operating pressures up to 29 bar (g) are required for ensuring the proper adhesion of the product during production.
Prysmian Cables is a globally leading provider of high-technology cables for energy supply and telecommunications. The Prysmian Group has several production facilities in Great Britain.
At the Southampton facility, CERTUSS steam supply is used as a heat exchanger for the manufacture of cables requiring high temperatures.
